2019 NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellowship in Architecture/Environmental Structures/Design, Choreography, Music/Sound, Photography, or Playwriting/Screenwriting available for application by artists living in New York State and/or Indian Nations located in New York State. The $7,000 cash awards are intended to fund an artist’s vision or voice, regardless of their level of artistic development.
The Music/Sound category accepts submissions from composers working in any and all styles of music, including vocal and instrumental artists, soundscapes, and experimental forms. As of this year, Music/Sound applications are pre-reviewed, giving the panel more time to review applicants’ time-based Work Samples.
